CBD Oil for Pets

CBD Oil for Pets

CBD is beginning to show tremendous potential in pets the same way as it has people. There is CBD hemp oil for dogs, CBD hemp oil for cats, and now other pets are starting to be able to experience the amazing potential of CBD.

CBD’s Potential in stressed out pets

Pet stress can range anywhere from trembling/refusing to do certain certain activities, to running around wild in anticipation of something. So, if you think that your pet is stressed and constantly tense, CBD may be the perfect solution to help them get over that hill.

Peripheral Benefits in Pets

In addition to the potential of CBD use in pets, there are also secondary components of hemp oil that are essential to proper bodily functioning. Specifically, pet owners may also find that the nutrients found in hemp-derived CBD oil match the nutritional requirements for pets. Full-spectrum CBD hemp oil is considered a quality source of vitamins A, B12, C, and E, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium, which are critical in ensuring that the body can function properly. This means that pet owners can worry less about making sure that their furry friends obtain essential vitamins and minerals from other sources because they are partially provided in each administration of CBD.

CBD Will Not Get Your Pet High

THC is the primary molecule that produces a “high” in people or pets. This molecule is always present in either plant species that CBD is derived from (hemp or cannabis). The major point here is that hemp primarily produces CBD, with little THC. In contrast the cannabis plant produces primarily THC, with little CBD present. What this means is that CBD derived from hemp contains so little THC that it will never be biologically active. In addition, with proper use, there are no side effects and there is no damage to the kidney, liver, or GI tract during digestion. CBD has been shown to be non toxic even in excessively large doses.
